  1. ABOUT Select Samples

Select Samples is in the business of selling downloadable products in the form of digital audio recordings, music production software, and other related materials, for use by, but not limited to, musicians, music producers, composers, film editors, and web designers.

  1. LICENSE AGREEMENT

All products from www.selectsamples.com are sold as "royalty-free" or "master clearance guaranteed," which means that they are licensed, not sold to you, by Select Samples. Select Samples is either the owner or entitled licensee of the products on sale. By making a payment for a product, you are granted the right to incorporate them into a music production, film, TV program, website, or other media production, without paying any additional royalties, license fees, or any other fees to Select Samples or any third parties unless otherwise stated in additional licensing materials or product descriptions.

  1. USAGE AND COPYRIGHT

Copying, re-selling, leasing, duplicating, or distributing in any form of the products for sale, other than outlined in the 'License Agreement,' is strictly prohibited. This extends, but is not limited to, file-sharing websites, web forums, computer networks, and file hosting websites. Products cannot be distributed in their original format or sold in a manner that would be considered competitive with the nature of Select Samples' business model, outlined in "About Select Samples." Everything else on the website is licensed to Select Samples LLC, including artwork, source code, materials, audio demos, graphics, text, and logos and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

  1. SECURITY AND REGISTRATION

You do not have to be registered with Select Samples to view the website, but to purchase products, you must provide certain information, including a username, password, and valid email address. Once these are provided, they will be kept on file by Select Samples. This information will be used by Select Samples as outlined in the "Privacy Policy."

Your data will always be secure with us and will never be sold to any third-party companies.

Our Promise

At Select Artist Mentorship, our mission is to find and develop the next generation of house music producers.

We believe opportunity should be based on effort, commitment, character, and attitude.

That’s why we offer a limited number of scholarships for dedicated beginners and novices who are ready to do the work.

1. No Purchase Required

Applying for this scholarship is 100% free.
No payment, purchase, or prior enrollment in our programs is necessary.
Buying any Select Samples products does not improve your odds of being selected.

2. Who It’s For

This scholarship is designed for individuals who:

  • Live within ~50 miles of Houston, Texas.

  • Are 18 years or older at the time of application.

  • Produce or aspire to produce house, tech house, piano house, deep house, disco house, minimal/deep tech, afro house, organic house, techno, and melodic house. 

  • Are beginners or novices ready to invest real time and energy weekly.

This program is not for hobbyists, freebie-seekers, or anyone looking for shortcuts.
We only work with applicants serious about long-term growth.

3. Scholarship Details

  • Limited number of full and partial tuition scholarships each enrollment period.

  • Each scholarship is applied as a tuition credit toward Select Artist Mentorship.

  • No cash, transfers, or substitutions.

  • Scholarships are non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged.

  • Recipients are chosen through a merit-based evaluation (not random or lottery).

Selection Factors:
✅ Clarity of “why” and long-term artistic goals
✅ Commitment level and time availability
✅ Quality and effort of written responses

4. Application & Review

  • Applications are submitted online via Typeform at: https://form.typeform.com/to/IwU3nupm

  • Only one application per individual is accepted per period.

  • Applications close on November 4th, 2025.

  • Recipients are notified by email and text. 

  • 5 Full & 15 partial scholarships will ONLY be given. 

We review every application personally. Most will not be accepted.

5. Expectations of Recipients

Recipients agree to:

  • Attend all scheduled mentorship sessions.

  • Complete assigned work and feedback tasks.

  • Maintain open communication with their mentor.

  • Treat this opportunity as a partnership, not a handout.

Failure to participate consistently may result in revocation of the scholarship.

6. Publicity, Media & Rights

By applying, you grant Select Artist Mentorship permission to use your name, likeness, and excerpts from your submitted materials (music, photos, or text) for promotional use connected to the program.

We do this to celebrate success stories, not to exploit them.

7. Data & Privacy

Your information will never be sold or shared.
We use applicant data exclusively for program administration and communication.

8. Program Integrity

We reserve the right to modify, pause, or cancel the scholarship program at any time for reasons including fraud, misuse, or technical disruption.
If changes occur, applicants will be notified promptly via email or text.

9. Legal Disclaimer

This is a private educational scholarship operated by Select Samples LLC.
It is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any government, university, or accredited institution. We make no guarantees of future music releases, label signings, or earnings — those depend on your work.

10. Tuition Based Scholarships

All scholarships offered through Select Artist School are tuition-based awards.
They do not cover additional materials or supplies such as mandatory course plugins, software, or admin setup fees for partial recipients. 

Each partial scholarship recipient will receive full access to:

  • 🎵 Custom Sample Packs & Presets – samples and presets for your desired genre

  • 💬 Private Community Access – connect with other producers, share progress, attend meetings, ask questions, complete homework and check-ins. 

  • 📩 Direct Message Access – get private help and answers directly from your mentors.

  • 🎥 Private Video Trainings – personalized step-by-step instruction covering every stage of production.

  • 📘 Instructional PDFs & Resources – downloadable guides and exercises to support your learning.

* FULL scholarship recipients will receive full access to everything above, including supplies and set up. Excludes the DAW of your choice.
